Brandon C. Bensen

Brandon C. Bensen, age 27 of Hastings, died Thursday, September 22, 2016, at home. Brandon Charles, the son of Scott and Dorothy ( Carlsness ) Bensen, was born on January 30, 1989, in Willmar, MN. He was a 2007 graduate of Hastings High School. He loved scuba diving, music, gaming, hiking, Superman and was an Eagle Scout. Brandon was preceded in death by his grandfather George Carlsness. He is survived by his parents, Scott Dorothy Bensen of Hastings, his sisters Theresa (Don) Nash of Red Wing, MN, Angela (Jerry) Bergeron of Parker, CO and Nadine Bensen of Hastings; grandparents Connie Carlsness and Charles and Ida Bensen; nieces and nephews Ashley Lobe, Reilly Bergeron, Hunter and Hannah Nash; as well as by several aunts, uncles many relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Our Saviours Ev. Lutheran Church, 400 West Ninth St., Hastings, officiated by Rev. Doug Duin. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until time of service at the church.
