Brady L. Kragenbring, age 24, of Deep River, CT, formerly of Hastings, passed away on February 6, 2017. Brady was born in Hastings, MN and graduated from HHS in 2010. In his early years, he spent most of his time outside. As he grew he became involved in karate, baseball, hockey, golf, snowboarding and disc golf. As a teenager, he gained a love for being on the water, especially the local rivers. He enjoyed boating, paddle boarding, fishing and jet skiing. Brady showed his love for wildlife and nature through his photography. He especially loved taking pictures of animals and had a special way of capturing them in his photographs. Brady loved his family and was a true friend to those that knew him. He was known for his cleverness, ingenuity, adventurous nature and willingness to help others in need. In October of 2015, Brady began another adventure by moving to Connecticut. He worked as a Marine Technician and then at an olympic horse training facility. Brady will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. Brady is preceded in death by his uncle, Collin Lane Kragenbring; and his grandfather, Dr. David Rislove. He is survived by his mother, Kaye Kragenbring; his father, Kyle Kragenbring; his step-mother, Stephanie Kragenbring; his step sisters, Elizabeth and Elianna Pagel; his sister, Lindie Olsen and her husband, Nate; his sister, Treya Kragenbring; as well as grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service, officiated by Gordon Gathright and Pastor Gregory Geier, will be held on Saturday (2/25) at 4:00 PM at St. Philip’s Lutheran Church, 1401 15th St W, Hastings. A gathering will be held one hour prior to the service at Church.
