Erickson, Blaine M
age 94 of Minneapolis, born July 20, 1915 to Isaac and Lela Erickson in Spencer Brook, MN, passed away September 22, 2009. Blaine served in the U.S. Army during WWII; retired from the Star Tribune after 29 years as a driver and was an avid Twins fan and bowler. He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen. Blaine is survived by daughter, Carol (Loren) Manderfeld; sons: Robert (Janet), John and Tom; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and many other family and friends. Funeral service is 11:00 AM, Friday, September 25, 2009 with visitation one hour before at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So., Mpls. Interment to follow at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens, Burnsville.
