Beverly Ann Weiss

Weiss, Beverly Ann (nee Johnson), age 76, of Mpls. Born Aug. 1, 1929. Died Aug. 20, 2005, following bypass surgery. Preceded in death by parents, Martha & Walfred Johnson and younger brother, Marvin. Survived by loving husband of 51 years, Richard; daughter, Ann (August) Holleschau; sons, Tom (Sandy) and David (Kelly); grandchildren, Lisa, Vicki and Garrett Weiss; sisters, Irene Johnson of Palo Alto, CA, and Phyllis (Denis) Bakke of Lake Elmo; nieces, neighbors and friends. A 1947 graduate of Murray High School, St. Paul. Attended St. Cloud State and Minnesota School of Business. Employed by the University of MN and VA Hospital. Intensely proud of her Swedish heritage and her children, Bev never desired anything for herself. She will always be remembered for her selfless love and devotion to family, her intelligence, sharp wit, fantastic memory and organizational skills, enthusiasm for life and ability to convey the most information in one sentence. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, 10 AM at the Church of St. Helena, 3201 E. 43rd St., Mpls. Visitation Wed., 5-8 pm at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., and 1/2 hour before Mass at church. Interment Ft. Snelling.
