Beverly A. Collins

Beverly A. Collins, 89 of Spearfish, SD and formerly of Faribault, MN, passed away on April 23, 2020 in Spearfish. Beverly Ann, the daughter of Edward and Flora (Solcum) Neumann, was born on October 18, 1930, in Northfield. She was raised on a farm in Shieldsville, MN, and graduated from Faribault High School. Beverly has lived in Spearfish for the last five years. She became a LPN at the age of 53 after graduating from Minneapolis Technical Institute in 1982, where she was a nurse until retirement. Beverly is survived by five children, Shelly (Bill) Bryant of Rogers, MN, Debbie Borchardt of Perry KS, David Drentlaw of Spearfish (formerly of Prior Lake, MN), Rebeca Berg of Spearfish and Kris Dentlaw of Green Bay, WI; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Katie Jo Drentlaw; son-in-law, Mike Berg; brothers, Rick and Dale; sisters, Betty Woll, Gloria Hausen and Diane Kitzman. A Celebration of Beverly's Life will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 28, 2020, at Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault. Interment will follow at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
