Betty R. Nelson

Nelson, Betty R., age 93 of Mpls., passed away peacefully on February 13, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Chester; 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Betty is survived by 2 daughters, Beverly (Marlin) Weidler and Linnea Nelson; son, David; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Harry S. Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was a piano teacher, a church organist at Transfiguration Lutheran and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Minnehaha Falls. Memorial service Friday, February 18 at 12 noon, Care Center Chapel, 1007 E. 14th St., Mpls., with a gathering of family and friends after the service. Free valet parking. Interment Bloomington Cemetery. Memorials to Augustana Care Center.
