Betty M. Turnbull

Betty M. Turnbull, age 93 of Hastings, died peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday evening, October 13, 2021. Betty Mae, daughter of Alvin Callahan and Inga Paulson Callahan, was born on May 13, 1928, in Norma, N.D. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Lorraine (Lloyd), Delores (Merle), Jackie, Ilene, Carmon (Eugene); brother-in-law, Vernon. Betty is survived by her husband, Everett Turnbull; children, Marie Amanda, Don (Barb) Turnbull, and Patric Turnbull; grandchildren, Christina (Allan) Kabana, James Turnbull and John Turnbull; great-grandson, Hayden Kabana; siblings, Jerry (Eileen), Dolly (Hap), Karen; several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St. in Hastings. A Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home and there will be a reception following the service.
