Betty I. Fox

Betty I. Fox, age 86 of Miesvilledied July 4, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN. She was born May 9, 1926 in Cannon Falls to Martin and Eza (Moorhouse) Jensen and was a 1945 graduate of Cannon Falls High School. Betty married Othmar L. Fox on July 31, 1946 at the St. Pius V Catholic Church in Cannon Falls. Betty was very devoted to her family and a woman of strong faith. She enjoyed bowling and was an excellent cook. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Othmar; son Michael; siblings Marlowe Jensen, Alton Jensen, Elmer Jensen, Viola Jensen Wells and Dennis Taube. Betty is survived by her five sons Albie (Debbie), Jim (Susan), Bob (Julie), Ray (Shawn), and Marty (Sarah); daughter-in-law Donna Fox; also 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; her sister Arlene Jensen Qualle and brother Roger Taube. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Fernando Ortega will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday, July 9, 2012at St. Joseph�s Catholic Church, 23955 Nicolai Ave. in Miesville. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The visitation for Betty will be held AT THE CHURCH from 4-8 P.M. Sunday and one hour prior to the Monday service.Pallbearers are her grandsons, Shawn, Jason, Coty, Ryan, Jared, and Randy Fox.
