Beth A. Anderson

Anderson, Beth (Barnett), age 44, popular & beloved Honors Chemistry teacher at Mpls South High School for 20+ years. Beth graduated Phi Beta Kappa in 1983 from Duke University. She was an avid reader, loved the ocean, Maryland blue crabs and Duke basketball. Preceded by mom, Skip Barnett. Survived by husband, Neil; daughters, Vicki and Lauren; and grand-daughter, Alexus Rose; father, Jay; brother, Scott (Jennifer); sister-in-law, Gail (Larry) Christian; brother-in-law, Wayne Anderson; nieces and nephews, Ryan, Gillian, Megan, Malia, Sam and Tony. Visitation Thursday 5-8 PM at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S. Service Friday 12 Noon, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2730 E. 31st St. A celebration of Life, Tuesday 3PM, South High Auditorium, 3131 19th Ave. S., with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to South High Foundation, family or donor’s choice.
