Bert L. Anderson

Anderson, Bert L. age 98, of Mpls., died peacefully surrounded by his family on Feb. 27th. Preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Florence. Survived by daughter, Gaye (Glen) Schlichte; son, Van (Judy) Anderson; grandchildren, Andy (Kelly) Biros, Becky (Nick) Sirek, Angela and Lauren Anderson; great-grandchildren, Dustin & Leah Biros, and Emily Sirek. Bert was a Veteran of WWII and retired from the Mpls. School Board. He lived a long and full life. An avid fisherman and hunter, a carpenter and jack-of-all trades. He loved gardening, baking, crossword puzzles and babies. He was deeply loved by friends and family. A celebration of Bert’s life will be held at Lake Nokomis Presbyterian Church, 1620 E. 46th St., Mpls. at 2 PM Saturday with visitation one hour prior to the service.
