Bernice Sherry

Bernice V. 'Bun' Sherry, age 87, of Hastings, passed away August 15, 2010 at Regina Nursing Home. Bun was born June 22, 1923 in Hastings to William and Anna Karnick. She was preceded in death by her son, Pudgy Likes; parents; sister, Dorothy Karnick; brothers, Joe; Ray and Ralph Karnick. Survived by children, Vicki (Bruce) Johnson of Dallas, TX; Peter (Diane) Likes of Hastings; Thomas Jr. (Sue) Sherry of River Falls; Patricia (David) Berg of Hastings; Joseph (Cathy) Sherry of Hastings; Mary (Thomas) Knoll of Hastings; and Lisa Sherry (Duane) of Ellsworth; 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; sisters, Viola Liddle of River Falls; Marjorie Kelly of Hastings; and Mary Jean (Richard) Heselton of Hastings. Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Fr. Jim Perkl and Fr. Bill Murtaugh, Wednesday (8/18), 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. Visitation 2 hours prior to service at church. Interment St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery. Memorials preferred. Pallbearers are her grandchildren.
