Ben Pritchett

Ben Pritchett of Eagan, Minnesota, slipped away peacefully in the early hours of August 22 in his home. He was born August 8, 1942 in Escondido, California and raised there by his mother Flossie and step-father Bill Hanson. Ben graduated from Escondido High School in 1960 and Palomar College. He served his country for 3 years in the United States Army as a Communications Specialist in Minneapolis. Following that, Ben had a long Sales career, particularly New Home Sales. With Vicky, his wife of 43 years, Ben enjoyed travel and adventure on land and sea. He loved to entertain his friends, turning out gourmet meals. Everyone will miss Ben’s famous ribs. Survivors include Ben’s wife Vicky (nee Nelson), brother Steve (Suzi), sisters Diane Hanson and Dawnee Layton, beloved companion Hula Dog, and innumerable friends. In honor of Ben’s love of animals, Memorials are requested to Last Hope Companion Pet Rescue, Post Office Box 114, Farmington, Minnesota 55024.
