Bee Peterson

Bee Elizabeth Peterson, age 82, of Hastings, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on April 17, 2010. She was born to Otto and Helen Schultz on September 28, 1927 in Evanston, IL. She was baptized into the Christian faith five days after her birth. Bee graduated from Bethlehem Lutheran Grade School in 1941. She graduated from Evanston Township High School in 1945. On September 6, 1947, she married Rev. Eugene L. Peterson; together they served Lutheran Congregations in Wisconsin for over 30 years. Bee is preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, Carl Schultz. She is survived by her children, Steven (Paula) Peterson of Edina; Judith Seguin of Hudson; Kathryn (Robb) Scott of River Falls; and Thomas Peterson of Little Canada; grandchildren, Michael (Sarah) Peterson; Andrew Peterson; Kimberly Peterson; Kristin Peterson; Stephanie Seguin; Christopher Scott; Lea Scott; Thomas Scott and niece, Susan (Gene) Schultz-Dworak. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday (4/23) at 11:00 am at Our Saviour's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 400 W. 9th St., Hastings. Gathering one hour prior to service at church. Interment Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire at 10:00 am on Sat. (5/8). A second Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m on Sat. (5/8) at First Lutheran Church, 1005 Oxford Ave. in Eau Claire. Memorials preferred.
