Barbara D. Thompson

Thompson, Barbara D. (nee Knauff), age 77, of Cottage Grove, passed away at home on January 9, 2014. She was born In Chicago, IL on May 17, 1936. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Elliott brothers, Ronald; David & Robert; and brother in law, John Taft. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, James; children, David (Mary); Mark (Janet); Pamela Loiacano; Elizabeth (Chris) Melville; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, George Elliott (JoAnn) Knauff; Richard Nichols; brothers in law, William (Laverna) Thompson; Kenneth (Shirley) Thompson; sister in law, Gertrude Taft; many nieces & nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Sat (2/15) at 2:00 p.m. at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings. A gathering will be held 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at a later date.
