Barbara Ann Koepsell, 65, of Apple Valley, passed away Friday surrounded by her loving family.
Barbara loved three things in this world; her family, her friends, and her teaching. She didn’t rank these in any order because they were all equally important to her. With these gifts, she could laugh freely , give to others easily, and be equipped to do it again the next day. Living with her and watching what she could do was astounding. Barbara taught the majority of her 36 years of her teaching career in the ISD-196 Rosemont-Apple Valley-Eagan Public School District in Minnesota, and of those years, her primary focus was kindergarten. During that time, she positively touched many young children and their families.
It is impossible to mention all the friends she made and will leave behind but most of all, she will be missed by her husband, Bill; also, son, Drew; sister, Kathy Piwarski; niece, Melissa Piwarski; and nephew, Jason Piwarski.
A Gathering of Family and Friends is scheduled for 10-11 AM Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Henry W.
