Avrine R. “Avie” Anderson-Whitcomb

Age 49 of Minneapolis, born August 10, 1969 to Mike and Janet Anderson, passed away peacefully with her dad at her side April 16, 2019 after a long courageous battle with Glioblastoma (brain cancer).  She is preceded in death by her mom, Janet.  Avie will be dearly missed by her Dad, Mike; daughter, Natalia; brother, Matt Anderson (Lori Rice); aunt, Marilyn (Marshall) Burke; uncle, Doug Swanson and many other family and friends.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, April 26, 2019 with a visitation one hour before at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Ave. S., Minneapolis.  Avie will be laid to rest with her mom, Janet at Vasa Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to N.C. Little Hospice.
