Arnold “Arnie” M. Jensen
Age 90, life long resident of Rosemount, born October 13, 1924 to Fred & Marie Jensen, passed away July 24, 2015.

Arnie was a heavy equipment operator, a union rep and established the training facilties for the International Operating Engineers Local #49. He also served many years for the City of Rosemount as a council member, member of the Housing & Redevelopment Authority and the Utility Commission. He loved spending winters in Desert Hot Springs, CA and summers at the family cabin on Gull Lake in Brainerd and was an aviation enthusiast, flying out of Jensen Field in Rosemount.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Clem; son, Larry Jensen; siblings: Harry, Ann Devendorf, and Janet Smith.

Arnie will be dearly missed by children: Jacqueline Dolgaard, Karen (Sid) Woods, Jean (Brian) Torland, Joan (Bill) Marquardt, Ron (Tamie) Jensen; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings: Helen Keatley, Alice Noble, Joyce Luna, Jim (Donna), JoAnn (Jerry) Jurries, and Judy Smalley; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral Service, 3:00pm, Wednesday, July 29, 2015 with visitation one hour before at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley. Arnie will be laid to rest with his beloved wife, Clem at Rosemount Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers.
