Aric T. Hood

Aric Thomas Hood November 25, 1969 – September 12, 2021 Aric Thomas Hood, age 51, passed away unexpectedly on September 12, 2021. Born on November 25, 1969, Aric was a proud father, son, brother, and friend. Raised in Hastings MN, he graduated from Hastings High School in 1988 and went on the following year to Brainerd Technical College to study Forestry. Aric was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt and camp. He treasured his children and family. Aric is preceded in death by grandparents, J.P. Hood & Muriel Hood and R.D & Victoria Grundman. He is survived by parents, Patricia Grundman & Tom Hood; daughter, Julia; sons, Jace & Nicolaus; sister, Erin; brother, Chad (Laura); niece, Daisy; nephews, Mario, Mason, & Samuel; and many extended family and lifelong friends. There will be a Celebration of Life for Aric on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St. in Hastings MN. Memorials preferred to any organization whose mission is in support of persons who struggle with chemical dependency.
