Ardelle Dohmen

Ardelle A. Dohmen, an avid gardener, age 76, of Hastings, passed away June 18, 2010. Ardelle was born January 15, 1934 to Casey and Amanda Nappin at Camp Douglas, WI. She married Gerald Dohmen on Nov. 7, 1959 at All Saints Catholic Church in Lakeville. Together they celebrated their 50th Anniversary last November. Ardelle was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lowell Nappin. She is survived by her husband, Gerald of Hastings; children, Dale (Debbie) Dohmen of Inver Grove Heights; Dianne Dohmen (Greg Gustafson) of South Minneapolis; grandsons, Brian (Amy) Dohmen of West St. Paul; and Bradley (Kelly) Dohmen of Inver Grove Heights; great grandsons, Bradley; Travis; Derrick; and Zach; sister, LaDonna Anderson of Lakeville; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Wed. (6/23), 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. Visitation Tues. (6/22) from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings and one hour prior to mass at church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
