Anne Pauline Ducharme

Anne Pauline Ducharme passed away June 22nd, born April 5th 1929 at 12:07 pm, Anne was born and raised in Hennepin County, Minnesota, where she received her education and spent her youth. She made her career in Federal Civil Service, retiring March of 1994 with 32 years of creditable tenure. Although her work and travels took her to the East and West coasts, and Southwestern United States, Mexico, Canada and Europe, Anne returned home to Minnesota where she enjoyed many full and comfortable later years. Historically her family has been residents of the Twin Cities since 1885 when her paternal grandfather William Joseph Ducharme arrived from Montreal, Canada, and settled here. Anne, the last surviving member of her immediate family is now survived by daughters, Deborah Christine Jones of Spring, Texas, and JoAnne (Steve Mayer) Ferris of Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, first cousins and other family and friends. Memorial service will be held 10:00 July 9th with visitation one half hour prior at Lakewood Chapel. Interment to follow. Memorials preferred to Minneapolis Historical Society.
