Age 91 of Minneapolis, born March 5, 1922 in Minneapolis to Nels and Ella Nelson, passed away, Sep. 4, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, John, Sr.; son, Bruce J.; grandson, Lars and brother, Irving. Anna will be dearly missed by her daughter, Judith A. (G. James) Spinner; sons, John, Jr. (Sandy), Andrew J. (Linda), Fred R. (Rebecca), and Ted V.; daughter-in-law, Nancie; 13 grandchildren; brother, Ralph (Norma) Nelson; and other family and friends. Funeral service, 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 10, 2013 with visitation one hour before at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So., Mpls. Anna will be laid to rest with her husband John at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Twin Cities.
