Ann Rubis

RUBIS, ANN (nee BAKOS)
age 93, of Apple Valley, formerly of Mpls. Went to be with the Lord on Dec. 15, 2007. Preceded in death by husband, Lawrence; daughter, Eleanor Jean Arendt; and brothers, John and Andrew Bakos. Survived by 2 daughters Sherill (Thomas) Jacobson and Lorraine (Neil) Frankle; 5 grandchildren, Connie (Bill) Lind, Danielle (John) Plut, Lisa (Scott) Popp, Ron Arendt and Joyce Arendt; 2 great-grandsons, Max and Chase; sister, Mildred Soltis; son-in-law, Bob Arendt; and many nieces and nephews. Ann was a warm and loving wife. mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend to all. A fabulous cook, known especially for her soup, who will be greatly missed. Memorials preferred to the Grace Lutheran Church Parish Nurse Fund or Augustana Health Care Center, Apple Valley.
