Anita "Lee" Endres

Anita L. �Lee� Endres, age 79, of Hastings, died unexpectedly Friday, February 7, 2014. She was born October 30, 1934 in Hastings to Herman and Anna (Rollinger) Meyers. She graduated from Hastings High School, and received her Licensed Practical Nurse training in Red Wing, MN. She was a former nurse at the Hastings State Hospital, The Hastings Veterans Home and Regina Hospital. She married Eugene Endres September 15, 1956 at St. Mathias Catholic Church in Hampton, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Mary Riegert, John Meyers, Rita Braun, George Meyers and Herman Meyers. She is survived by her husband Eugene, 5 children Diane (special friend Kenny) Endres of Blaine, MN, Jeffrey (Stacy) Endres of Hastings, Mark (Lisa) Endres of Hastings, Michael (Pam) Endres of Vermillion and Daniel (Jodi) Endres of Hastings; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; also 1 brother Kenneth (Patricia) Meyers of Cannon Falls. Avisitation will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2014 from 4-8 PM at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 Seventh Street East in Hastings, MN. There will also be a visitation 1 hour prior to the funeral at church.The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Gilbert Endres and Fr. James Perkl will be held Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 Fifteenth Street West in Hastings. Interment will take place at St. Mathias Catholic Cemetery in Hampton, MN. Pallbearers are Eric Endres, Brady Endres, Kurt Endres, Rick Meyers, George Meyers Jr. and Matt Meyers. Honorary pallbearers are Ben Endres, Charlie Endres and Nick Endres.
