Amparo G. Green

Amparo G. Green, age 90, of Hastings, passed away January 22, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Durango, Mexico on May 11, 1926 to Luis Galindo and Maria de Jesus Gandara Galindo. Amparo is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul L. Green; nephew, Joseph A. Galindo; and great-great niece, Sadie Marie. She is survived by her niece, Alicia Ballard; great nieces, Yvette (Jerry) Tix; and Felicia (David) Strome; great nephew, Phillip (Bernadette) Reyes; great-great nieces and nephews, Adam, Victoria, Daniel, Gloria, Sierra, Maya, Matthew, Alex, Daniel Jr., Draven, Julian, Sophie, and Wendell. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. at the Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring Street in Hastings. A gathering will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
