Hillestad, Allen D.
Age 82 of Minneapolis, born May 19, 1930 in Dennison, MN to John & Lucille Hillestad, passed away April 4, 2013. Allen served in the US Army during the Korean War and was a Past Commander of the Wold Chamberlain American Legion. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Pat Folsom and Shirley Grove. Allen will be dearly missed by his wife of 61 years, Marlene; children, Robert and Kathy Hillestad; dog, Gus and cats, Odie and Blue. There will be a memorial mass at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 12, 2013 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 5426 12th Ave. S., Mpls with visitation one hour before. Interment, Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
