Allan W. Piel, age of 57, of Hastings passed away at his home on March 31, 2009. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 28, 1951 to Richard and Rosalie Piel. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalie; sister, Sandra; son David Piel. He is survived by son, Allan W. Piel, Jr.; granddaughters, Madison and Alexandria; father, Richard Piel; aunt Evelyn Kuhlmann. Private family services will be held at a later date in Momence, Illinois. Wise Family Funeral Home (www.wisefamilyfh.com) was in charge of arrangements.
