Alice Radke

Alice Radke, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at White Pines Memory Care in Cottage Grove. She was born the daughter of Arthur and Rose Nelson on June 13, 1948 in Mandan, North Dakota. Alice grew up on a farm in North Dakota with 14 siblings. She moved to Fargo ND where she met her future husband, Dale Radke and were later married in 1964. After marriage, they moved to Saint Paul, MN and where they started a dog grooming business in their home. They later moved into a commercial building, which held a laundromat and Alice’s dog grooming. After they sold the business in 1993, Alice went to work as a #1 machine operator for Thompson Reuters.

She loved running car shows and craft shows, knitting, and spending time with her grandchildren. Alice was strong, kind, loving, and caring.

She is preceded in death by husband, Dale; parents, Arthur and Rose Nelson; three sisters, Kathy, Violet, Virginia; two brothers, Donald and William. Alice is survived by her three children; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Clem, Wayne, Mari Kay, Melvin, Dalton, Marvin, Bob, Rodney, Leela; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Her urn will be buried in Fargo, ND.
