Alice Luella Bleckinger

Age 86, of Mpls., passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Oct. 2, 2012. Born in Halma, MN, Luella had 5 sisters and a brother. She enjoyed 59 years with her husband Bob, who passed on in 2007. Luella worked in several office and supervisory jobs over the years, but she used her true passion and creative spirits on hosting holiday gatherings, birthdays and many other occasions with family, friends and neighbors. Luella loved the spirited chaos of family gatherings and could often be found behind her camera in search of the illusive full-family photo. She enjoyed many trips with family to FL, AZ and CO. Luella is survived by her sister Adeline Gibbons, children Val Bryan (Steve), Bob Bleckinger (Lynn), Kim Rauscher (Tom); grandchildren; Jessie and Josh Bryan, Rob Bleckinger (Colleen), Ali Slezak (Todd), Beth Dougherty (Ben), Tom and Dan Rauscher; great-grandchildren Jack and Kristen Dougherty, Robbie Slezak; and many friends. Service was held with family 10/6/12. Memorials preferred to Chapel View Care Center.
