Capiz, Alfred

Age 88 of Apple Valley, passed away on April 21, 2017. Preceded in death by wife, Alice; sisters, Gloria and Rachel. Survived by daughters, Elizabeth (Randy) and Nancy; grandchildren, Michael, Justin, Alisha (Jans Colby) and Armando; great-grandson, Jans Franco; brothers, Henry, Manuel, Stephen (Terry); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Alfred was a sergeant in the US Army 25^th Infantry Division, 14^th Infantry Regiment Tropic Lightning in the Korean War. He was involved in the Minnesota Korean War Veteran Chapter #1 and the Mexican American Veterans Post 5. Alfred was a beloved father and grandfather. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon on Thurs., April 27, 2017 at Basilica of Saint Mary, 88 17^th St. N., Minneapolis, with visitation one hour prior. Inurnment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
