Adeline M. Nelson

Adeline M. Nelson, age 87 of Hastings died May 15, 2012 at Regina Nursing Home in Hastings. Adeline was born August 12, 1924 in Delano, MN to William and Mary (Turck) Boerner. She was a graduate of Litchfield High School and married Orville R. Nelson on April 1, 1945 in Los Angeles, CA. She was a homemaker, former housekeeper at Haven Homes Nursing Home, and provided many appreciated years of babysitting. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Orville; two children at birth; brothers Fred, Jim, Orville and her sister Lucille. Adeline�s survivors include her daughters Rhonda M. Nelson and Diane (Gerald) Weiss of Hastings; grandchildren Rochelle (Ron) Seme and Kevin Hansen; great-grandchildren Ashlee and Amanda and their father Tony Siewert; step-great-granddaughter Kaitlin; siblings Clifford (Shirley) Boerner, Vernon �Bud� Boerner, Willard (Geraldine) Boerner, Isabelle (Art) Kalarchick, Arlene (Ralph) Russell, Jerry (Mildred) Boerner, Brother Claver OFM, and Louise (William) Necklen; sisters-in-law Joan, Delores, and Helen. The funeral service, officiated by Pastor Ed Johnson will be held 11 AM Monday, May 21, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Rosemount, 14400 Diamond Path, Rosemount, MN with visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will follow in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Pallbearers are Shelli Seme, Kevin Hansen, Ron Seme and Tony Siewert; honorary pallbearers are Ashlee Siewert, Amanda Siewert, and Kaitlin Seme.
