Wyatt Richard O'Connell

Our precious little blue-eyed boy, Wyatt Richard O'Connell, the beloved son of Kristi Kent and Robert O'Connell, suddenly left us on Wednesday morning, September 23, 2020. Wyatt laughed and smiled through his brief three months with us, all while bringing much joy, happiness, and smiles to his family. Wyatt Richard was born at 5:11 a.m. on June 16, 2020, at Regina Medical Center in Hastings. He was a bright-eyed little boy, and shared such an infectious smile with anyone he could. Wyatt was always active, and wanted to make sure he could see what everyone else was doing. He was especially loved by his big brother Boden who was there to kiss him and help when he was hungry. They also enjoyed riding four wheeler around the yard with their daddy and momma. Even though our time with our little boy was short, we will forever cherish the time we spent holding, kissing, and talking with our sweet little boy. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Milton (Marie) Adams, Howard (Adline) Stevens, and John Kebble. In addition to his parents and big brother, Wyatt is survived by his grandparents, Mark (Dana) Kent, Gary (Jo) O'Connell, Samantha (Bill) Herman, and Mark (Pearl) Stevens; aunts and uncles, Lauren Kent, Stefan (Martina) Kent, Jake Kent, Billy (Amber) Herman, Kayla (Mike Shoff) O'Connell, Melinda (Dom) Hermanson, Jason Gruber, Nick Herman, Jake Herman, Scarlett Herman, and Heaven Herman; cousins, Charles, Jeremy, Adaya, Ember, Kailenna, Avalynn, William, Lindsey, Bentlee, Aubree, Atlas, Hunter, Anthony, Crosby, Rigby, Nick, Olivia, and Kaylee; great grandparents, Patricia (Bud) Kent, Alan (Melanie) Frelich, Dar (Alice) O'Connell, and Doris (Duane) Herman; as well as many other family members. A Celebration of Wyatt's Life will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday evening, September 28, 2020, at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
