William "Scott" Wiseman, age 55, died unexpectedly at his home Monday, December 7, 2015. Scott was born January 10, 1960 in Montebello, California to William and Eleanor (Henderson) Wiseman, who precede him in death. Scott grew up in Lakewood, California and attended Lakewood High School. In addition to California, Scott has resided in Washington and was a long time resident of Oregon before moving to Minnesota in 2010. Throughout the years, Scotts employment included jobs in the fire/flood restoration, cleaning and construction industries; he was a municipal employee, a business owner, a deckhand and engineer in Alaskas crab fishing industry, and a general contractor/carpenter in the home remodeling and investment property business where his impressive skill and craftsmanship was greatly admired. Scott is survived by his Love, Mary Judge Cofer, their daughter, Angela and grandchildren, Sarina, Mady, John and Asher; by his daughter Katrina (Edward) Gonzalez and grandchildren Alika, Breana, Destiny and Xavier; and by his only son, Dillon. Also surviving him are his sisters, Laurie Mann, Lynn (Troy) Girton, Sheri (Truman) Cruickshank and Virginia (Doug) Helt; his brother, Pete; his "Aunt Betty", numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and ever close to his heart, John and Helen Hardman. Scott was a free spirit. He loved life. He loved fishing. He loved surfing. He loved the West Coast, the Pacific Northwest and the Alaskan wilderness, and the little river town of Hastings that he "grew to love." He loved weekend road trips and spur of the moment adventures. He loved cuddling and playing with his grandchildren. He loved Rock-N-Roll, his Raiders, his 501s, his Vans, bright white tennis shoes and new white socks. He couldnt wait for tomorrow "because he only got better looking every day." But more than all, was the love deep within his heart for his family. No matter where time, distance, life and his travels took him, he carried that love and his memories for each and every member of his family with him. In honor of Scotts wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services, but rather his request to family and friends near and far was to raise a glass in his honor and remember only the fun times. Scott would ask, in lieu of flowers, please dont vote for Trump. Rather, consider a donation or kind deed to someone in need. "Peace out"
