William M. Bryan Sr.

William M. Bryan Sr., age 73, of Hastings died March 4, 2011. William was born July 17, 1937 in Imperial, PA to Michael and Grace (Junker) Bryan. He served in the United States Air Force, and married Lois Thun on December 16, 1960 in Pittsburgh. Prior to retirement he was employed in the airline industry. He was preceded in death by his father; step-father Stanley Podsiadly; and wife Lois. William is survived by his son Bill (Heidi) of Hastings; granddaughters Haile, McKenzie, and Madison; mother Grace Podsiadly of McKees Rocks, PA, and brothers Ronald (Patricia) Bryan of Huntington Beach, CA, Daniel (Phyllis) Podsiadly of Jonesboro, GA, and Walter (Diane) Podsiadly of McKees Rocks, PA. The Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Clark Jahnke, will be held 11AM Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. Seventh St., Hastings, with a visitation two hours prior to the service. Interment, with full military honors, will follow at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Dan Podsiadly, Colby Person, Walt Podsiadly, Tony Gerlach, Jessee Buck, and Arik Connell.
