William C. Morey

William C. Morey, age 79, of Hastings died November 20, 2012 at United Hospital in St. Paul, MN.William was born to Carroll and Florence (Erdman) Morey on November 27, 1932 in Denmark Township. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion and life member of the VFW. He had worked for Hudson Manufacturing for 32 years prior to his retirement. William is survived by his wife Elaine, two children, six step children, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service, officiated by Rev. Ed Frederick will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East Seventh St., Hastings with visitation held one hour prior to the service. Interment, with Military Honors provided by the Hastings VFW Lyle Russell Post #1210will follow in Cottage Grove Cemetery.
