Vivian Ann Pearson

Vivian Pearson, age 81 of Hastings died Monday, December 16, 2013 at her home. Vivian was born August 20, 1932 in Red Wing, MN to Carl and Hulda (Lindquist) Anderson. She was a graduate of Ellsworth High School and married Dale Pearson on December 8, 1951 at Svea Lutheran Church in Hager City, WI. Vivian was co-owner with her husband of 35 years of the Farmers Insurance Agency in Hastings. She also worked nine years at the Regina Medical Center as a Residence Service Aide, after retiring from the insurance business. Vivian enjoyed flower gardening, cooking, playing bingo, and especially sharing time with family and shopping with friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Gary Pearson; brothers Leonard and Richard Anderson. Vivian is survived by her husband Dale; children Gordon (Kathy) Pearson, Gloria (Robert) Burr, Gregory Pearson and Gerald (Sandra) Pearson, all of Hastings; ten grandchildren Tobi Burr, Amanda Burr, Bobbi (Josh) Seleski, Melissa (Matthew) Schwamb, Crystal (Shane) Lanning, Wyatt Pearson, Lacretia Pearson, Derinda (Jeffrey) Rost, Zachary Pearson and Garrett Pearson; also ten great grandchildren; brothers Robert (Shirley) Anderson of Hager City and Howard (Peach) Anderson of Ellsworth; sisters-in-law Bonnie Anderson of Hager City and Marty Pearson of Burnsville. The funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Lloyd Menke will be held 12 Noon Friday, December 20 at Our Saviour�s Ev. Lutheran Church, 400 West Ninth St., Hastings. Visitation will be held at the church after 10AM Friday. Interment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Hastings. Pallbearers are Zach Pearson, Garrett Pearson, Bailey Burr, Adam Miller, Shane Lanning and Matt Schwamb.
