Virginia Lunde

Virginia M. Lunde, age 81, of Hastings, died December 8, 2009 at her home.Virginia was born July 8, 1928 in Minneapolis to Henry and Rose (McLean) Hecker. She was united in marriage to Dr. Paul Lunde on September 24, 1960 in Hastings. Virginia enjoyed golfing and travel.She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Rosemarie and Arlene,and husband Paul. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy (Tom) Gallagher of Purcellville, VA; brother David Hecker of Wasilla, AK; and nieces and nephews.Interment was held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.A Memorial Open House will be held at the Hastings Country Club on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
