Veronica M. Seleski

Veronica M. Seleski age 82 of Hastings passed away Jan. 5, 2009 at Augustana Healthcare Center. Veronica was an active volunteer at the Hastings Senior Center earning the 'Unsung Hero' Award in Hastings. She was the former President of both the VFW and the Eagles Auxiliaries. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Gertrude Irrthum; and brothers, John and Raymond. She is survived by her children, Paul (Barb) Seleski; Walter (Jennifer) Seleski; Gerald Seleski; Valerie (Mark) Estabrook; grandchildren, Ryan (LaChelle) Seleski; Tom (Andrea) Seleski; Mandy (Eric) Brown; Nick (Nina) Seleski; Matthew Seleski; Reese Estabrook; great grandchildren, Jack Seleski; Addison Seleski; and Hanna Brown; sister, Doloris Irrthum; brothers, Paul (Sara) Irrthum; Walter Irrthum; Gerald (Mary) Irrthum; many other nieces, nephews cousins and friends. Mass of Christian Burial is Friday (1/9) 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St. in Hastings. Visitation will be Thursday (1/8) from 4:00 €“ 7:00 p.m. at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings and 1 hour prior to mass at church. Interment in the church cemetery.
