Veronica A. Rohling

Veronica A. Rohling, age 92 of Hastings, died Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. Veronica A., the daughter of Max and Verna Piekarski, was born on April 19, 1923 in Inver Grove Heights. She was united in marriage to Gotthard Rohling on April 21, 1956 at St. Augustines Catholic Church in South St. Paul. Veronica was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gotthard. Veronica is survived by her sister in law, Ellie (Cliff) Mitchell and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 19, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 West Fifteenth St., in Hastings, with Father David Hennen officiating. Interment will be held at St. Patricks Cemetery, Inver Grove Heights. Visitation will be held on Friday for one hour prior to Mass at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Pallbearers are Kristan Kimmes, Kaitlyn Norcross, Kelinda Gustafson, Thomas Norcross, Daniel Dickinson and John Lewis.
