Toni J. Collins

Toni J. Collins, age 71 of Hastings died Saturday, November 22, 2014, following a brief battle with cancer. Toni was born December 4, 1942 in Calera Alabama to Wilford and Jessie Lee (Broadhead) Horton. She was a retired bank manager for Norwest Bank in Hastings. An active Hastings community and church member, Toni was a former Hastings Womens Club member who held several local and regional offices. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, first husband J. W. Stephens and son Michael Collins. Toni is survived by her husband David Collins; daughter Nelda (partner Astride) Stephens, son Jim (Julie) Stephens, son Dana (Cindy) Collins, stepson Dan (Leah) Collins, stepdaughter Connie (Robert) Williams; grandsons Noah, Nicholas, Brian, Timothy, Collin, Grant, Michael; great grandson Maddox; extended family Norma Loftin, Tim and Lynn Loftin, Tracy and Paul Bush, Connor Bush. The Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Glenn Olson will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, November 25 at New Life Evangelical Free Church, 11245 West Point Douglas Road South, Hastings with visitation after 9:30AM. The pallbearers are Mike Schutt, Jim Biermaier, Brian Lutz, Mark Jensen, Mark Woodward and Mike Anderson. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to New Life Ev. Free Church. Interment will be held in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Chilton County, Alabama.
