Thomas D. Doherty

Thomas D. Doherty, age 77, of Hampton, died on March 24, 2008 at his home. He was born June 3, 1930 to Celestine and Charles Doherty in Minneapolis. Thomas served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Patricia Daley in Hopkins in 1959. He was a retired service worker with the Minneapolis Water Department. Thomas was preceded by his parents and brother Robert. He is survived by his wife Patricia; children Dennis (Laurel) Doherty, Terry (Jennifer) Doherty, Maureen (Dave) Peterson, and Mary Kay (Joe) Woehrle; also 11 grandchildren; brothers Michael (Beverly) Doherty and Fr. Terry Doherty; sister Mary Sandell; also many nieces and nephews. The funeral service, conducted by Fr. Jay Kythe will be held at 10:30am Friday, March 28, 2008 at ST. JOSEPH�S CATHOLIC CHURCH of MIESVILLE, (23955 Nicolai Avenue, Hastings, MN .)The visitation will be held at church from 4 to 8pm Thursday and 1 hour prior to the Friday service. The pallbearers will be Joseph Doherty, Alex Doherty, Kevin Peterson, Charles Doherty, Michael Doherty, and David Peterson. The interment will be held at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials are preferred.
