Wimer, Theodora (Morrow) 'Teddy'Died peacefully at age 87 at her daughter Virgina's home. Beloved wife of Lawrence for 51 years, mother of James A. Morrow (Jane), Charles M. Morrow (Ellen) and Virginia Morrow Zaffke (Maurice); grandchildren Dan Morrow (Katie), Tim Morrow (Joanie), Kate Zaffke Buerer (David), Jake Morrow, Jed Zaffke (Aafke), Julia Morrow and Jonathan Zaffke, and great-grandchildren Sparrow, Sky, Macklin, Sam, Dominic and Joey. She was preceded in death by her oldest son, J. Patrick Morrow.Born in St. Xavior, Montana where her mother, Katie taught on the Crow Indian Reservation. Moved to Mazeppa, Minnesota when she was 9 years old and attended Mazeppa schools; Teddy then graduated with honors from Marshall University High School and attended the University of Minnesota for a year before getting married. Teddy worked much of her career in the mental health field and returned to college as an adult. After her retirement, Teddy became a peer counselor for Vision Loss Resources, helping others who were also losing their sight. Teddy loved spending time with her grandchildren, enjoyed swimming and being at the lake and will be remembered fondly by family and friends.Memorial service Thursday November 5, 2:00 pm at Calvary Christian Church, 907 15th Street W, Hastings.
