Steven "Steve" Mann

Steven "Steve" Mann, age 61, longtime owner of Muddy Waters Bar and Grill in Prescott, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday evening, June 24, 2021. He was born in Hastings on February 13, 1960 to Willard and Maleda Mann. He worked commercial construction for many years, until 2003 when he and Patti started their dream and created Muddy Waters. Steve was a very social man, making friends was easy for him. He was a great brother, uncle, and friend. Steve loved to fish and golf and was a certified scuba diver. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Duane and Gary. Steve is survived by his flower top, Patti Schichel; siblings, Gale (Dar), Will (Julie), Chuck (Becky), Terry, Don (Ann), Penny (Dan) Brigley, Gene, and Lisa (Dave) Frandrup, sister in law, Ruth (Dick) Berg, Patti's children, Rachel (Steve) Kupferschmidt, Sunni (Mark) Henn, Sara (Damon) Williams; Jenni Schichel, Patti's 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion Street in Hastings. A visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Private Interment will be held later at Lakeside Cemetery.
