Shirley M. Mccoy

Shirley M. McCoy, age 72, of Hastings, died after a long battle with cancer surrounded by her family on September 11, 2016 at her home. She was born to Francis and Bess (Kopet) Donkers on December 8, 1943 in St. Paul, MN. She married Robert A. McCoy on September 23, 1967 in St. Paul. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; father, mother, father-in-law, and mother-in-law. She is survived by her daughters, Sue McCoy of Hastings, Judy (Jared) Tutewohl of Hampton, and Deb McCoy of Hastings; sons, Mike (Lisa) McCoy of Hastings, and Jim (Michelle) McCoy of Austin, MN; grandchildren, Robert and Ashley Tutewohl; sister, Carole (Jerry) Schweisthal of Faribault, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday (9/17) at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 115 West Main Street, Vermillion, MN with Fr. Cole Kracke officiating. A visitation will be held two hours prior to mass at church. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery following mass.
