Shawn Lee Farrell

Shawn L. Farrell, age 47 of Hastings, died suddenly on Saturday, March 14, 2020, while visiting his mother in Zumbrota. Shawn Lee, the son of Lee and Rae (Jacobson) Farrell, was born on April 19, 1972, in St. Paul. As a child, Shawn was active in hockey and was awarded for his attendance in school. Following his graduation from Hastings High School with the class of 1990, Shawn followed his passion and began his career in computer and media technology. Shawn was very smart and diligent in the technology world and owned and operated TrustMedia in Hastings. He enjoyed assisting the many customers he had over the years. Shawn also enjoyed volunteering in many different aspects throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his father, Lee. Shawn is survived by his mother, Rae; and by other relatives and many friends. A private service will be held a later date. However, any cards or memorials are welcome and can be dropped off at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
