Scott D. Sanderson

November 17, 1970 — December 25, 2021

Scott Duane Sanderson of St. Paul Park, MN, passed away Christmas Day 2021 at Regions Hospital from COPD and COVID-19. Scott, the son of Duane and Patricia (Borchert) Sanderson, was born on November 17, 1970. Scott attended school in Hastings and Antwerp International School, Belgium; graduating from Hastings Sr. High. He is survived by his sons, Ryan and Adam (Fargo/Moorhead); parents, Duane and Patricia of Hastings, MN; sisters, Lisa (Paul) Phillips of Marne, MI; Kristine Pini of Palm Springs, CA; nieces, Jade and Sierra; and by many other relatives and friends. Scott was a long time trucker. Also a graduate, with honors, from LeCordon Bleu Culinary School, Eagan. He seemed the happiest at LeCordon Bleu and cooking at The Onion Grill in Hastings. He regretted that he hadn't stayed there. At the time he needed it, there were only jobs available for reduced hours, so he went back to trucking. What a shame because he was a very good chef! Scott was a loner who lived life on his own terms. Rest in Peace dear Scott! No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are being handled by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
