Samuel L. Steinke, age 27, of Hastings died unexpectedly January 26, 2017.Sam was born June 12, 1989 in Hastings to Bruce and Stephanie (Matsch) Steinke. He grew up in Hastings, graduating from Hastings High School with the class of 2008.Sam was preceded in death by his brother Andrew in 2013. He is survived by his father Bruce D. Steinke of Hastings; his mother Stephanie (Gary) Robinson of Bruno, MN; his brother Bruce Steinke Jr, and 2 sisters Jill Steinke and Heidi Steinke; his grandparents Herb and Marilyn Steinke; and by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services Chapel, 201 7th Street East, Hastings, MN. A time of fellowship with family and friends will follow the service.
