Ruthmary Gust

Ruthmary B. Gust, age 84, of Hastings died on December 13, 2010 at Fairview Southdale Medical Center in Edina. Ruthmary was born March 20, 1926 in Minneapolis to Leon and Sophia (Bonk) Newman. She was united in marriage to Joseph J. Gust on August 16, 1947 in Richfield, and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings; and daughter Cynthia Ahearn. Ruthmary is survived by her children Mark (JoAnn) Gust of Redding, CT, Brian Gust of Bloomington, David (Carol) Gust of Fair Oaks, CA, Kevin Gust of Hastings, Patrice (Nicholas) Jenson of Chandler, AZ, and Jeffrey (Judy) of St. Louis Park; son-in-law John Ahearn of Springfield, VA; grandchildren Jonathan (Kelly) Gust, Christopher (Maria) Gust, Lauren Gust, and Joseph Jenson; great-grandchildren Finley, Brendan, and Elizabeth. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Rev. James Perkl, will be held at 10AM Friday, December 17, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 West Fifteenth Street, Hastings, with a gathering one half hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
