Ruth J. Fuchs

Ruth Jean Fuchs, age 55 of Hastings died Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Our Lady of Peace in St. Paul, MN following a lengthy illness. Ruth was born July 14, 1957 to John and Lorraine (Williams) Bougie in Richmond Hills, NY. She was employed in product distribution with Aveda Corporation and married Thomas J. Fuchs on June 14, 2008 at Spring Lake Park. Preceded in death by her father and daughter, Lena, Ruth is survived by her husband Tom; son Roy Bougie; mother Lorraine Schuler (John McCloskey); brothers Steve Schuler (Kim), Scott Schuler (Linda), Gene Schuler (Tina); sister Jackie Schuler; step-daughters Kyla McHenry (Kevin) and Kelsey Lewis (Sam); also nieces, nephews and friends, especially at Aveda. The Memorial Service, officiated by Gordon Gathright will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East Seventh Street, Hastings with visitation two hours prior to the service. Interment will take place in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Our Lady of Peace Home, 2076 St. Anthony Ave, St. Paul, MN 55104.
