Ruth Dorothea Johnson

Ruth D. Johnson, age 85, of Hastings died Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at her home at Park Ridge.Ruth was born October 13, 1926 in Perth, Australia to Rudolph and Edna (Fischer) Graebner. She married Ray G. Johnson on October 26, 1946 at Our Saviour�s Lutheran Church in Hastings, and had worked as a bookkeeper with Dakota County Government. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ray, and two brothers Bob and Everard. Ruth is survived by her six children Neil (Kathy) Johnson of Cottage Grove, Thea (Dennis) Doffing of Hastings, Brian (Jean) Johnson of Lindstrom, Kevin (Carrie) Johnson of Lander, WY, Lyn (Rob) Peterson of Moose Lake, and Heather (Eric) Wittkopf of River Falls, WI; 17 grandchildren Tom Johnson, Tricia Johnson, Bob (Stef) Johnson, Steve (Erin) Johnson, Jeremy (Amy) Doffing, Phillip (Laura) Doffing, Erica Doffing , Alison (Joe) Knoll, Matthew (Allison) Johnson, Zachery (Brittany) Johnson, Chelsea Johnson, Kyle and Clark Johnson, Luke and Hillary Peterson, Amanda and Micah Wittkopf; 17 great-grandchildren Alexa and Lauren, Ashley, Jacob (fianc�e Tori) and Derek, Samantha and Emma, Aedan and Audrey, Lily and Jameson, Wyatt, Colin and Ava, Benjamin and Alaina, and Noah; one great-great-granddaughter Jenna; also Ruth�s sister Heather (Harry) Mithen and brother Andrew (Lina) Graebner, all of Perth. The Memorial Service, officiated by Rev. Lloyd Menke will be held at 11 AM Monday, October 15, 2012 at Our Saviour�s Ev. Lutheran Church, 400 West Ninth St., Hastings with visitation from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings, MN.
