Rosemary Ann Kieffer

Rosemary A. Kieffer, age 88; of Hastings, died 3/11/08 at Providence Place in Minneapolis. She was born March 5, 1920 in Vermillion to Frank J. Anna (Leifeld) Langenfeld, and attended rural schools. She married Victor A. Kieffer on November 11, 1943 in Vermillion. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; husband Victor; brothers Nicholas, Henry, Frank, Leo, Greg, Aloysius, Bernard; sisters Margaret Reuter and Anna Raway. She is survived by her six children, Kay Jorgenson of Apple Valley, Thomas (Betty) Kieffer of Hastings, Don (Marsha) Kieffer of St. Paul, Terry (Kathy) Kieffer of Apple Valley, Dennis Kieffer of Minneapolis, Jeff (Rhonda) Kieffer of Andover; also 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister Martha (Leo) Ellingson of Montana; and brother Anthony (Elizabeth) Langenfeld of Hastings. The Funeral Service, officiated by Fr. Abraham George will be held at 11:00am Saturday, March 15, 2008 at ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2035 W. 15th St. Hastings. Visitation will be held from 4-8pm Friday at the CATURIA-SMIDT FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. 7th St., Hastings and 1 hour prior to the service at church. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The pallbearers will be Chad Kieffer, Aaron Kieffer, Jason Kieffer, Todd Jorgenson, Lindsay Kieffer, and Chris Kieffer. The honorary pallbearers are all the remaining grandchildren. Memorials are Preferred.
